UPS Putting These Curvy EVs to Work in London, Paris

The packet delivery giant is working with Britain-based commercial electric vehicle manufacturer Arrival to develop the zero tailpipe emission truck. The vehicles have a battery range of more than 150 miles, which UPS said is "significantly college than other EVs currently in service." They as well come with Avant-garde Commuter Assistance Systems that aim to boost safety and reduce driver fatigue.

The companies have been working together to develop electric delivery vehicle prototypes of different sizes since 2022, and they're near ready to deploy their start one.
In a statement, Arrival CEO Denis Sverdlov said the vehicles are "designed to make deliveries in our decorated cities clean and quiet."
"With its unique, wrap-around front window the driver has a much wider field of view that improves non only the prophylactic of the commuter but also that of cyclists and pedestrians," he added.
UPS is no stranger to EV technology – the company introduced the first EV to its fleet mode back in the 1930s. Information technology now has more than 300 EVs and almost 700 hybrids on the road in Europe and the Usa. UPS said information technology has invested more $750 million in alternative fuel and avant-garde applied science vehicles since 2009.
In Dec, the visitor pre-ordered 125 of Tesla's new fully electrical semi trucks. Tesla expects to kicking off production of the trucks in 2022, and UPS will be among the first companies to put them to work.
